This 10-day odyssey is a profound exploration of one of the world’s oldest Christian civilizations. Your journey begins in the high-altitude energy of Addis Ababa before flying to the shores of Lake Tana, where 14th-century monasteries hide ancient treasures behind vibrant, hand-painted frescoes. You will stand in the mist of the Blue Nile Falls, known locally as Tis Abay (the Great Smoke), before ascending to Gondar. In this “Camelot of Africa,” you will walk through 17th-century stone palaces that tell the story of a powerful imperial dynasty.

The journey reaches its spiritual peak in Lalibela. Here, you won’t just see churches; you will witness a living faith as pilgrims in white robes chant in tunnels carved deep into volcanic rock. To balance the history, we take you into the Simien Mountains, where the landscape falls away into dramatic canyons and you can sit meters away from the endemic Gelada baboons. This tour is designed for those who want to understand the soul of Ethiopia—its resilience, its deep-rooted faith, and its breathtaking natural architecture.
