Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival in Addis Ababa

City orientation: Entoto Hills, National Museum (Lucy fossil), Holy Trinity Cathedral, Ethnographic Museum, and Merkato market. Overnight in Addis Ababa.

Day 2 — Addis → Tiya → Arba Minch

Stop at Tiya Stelae Field (UNESCO). Continue to Arba Minch with lunch in Welayta. Overnight lodge stay in Arba Minch.

Day 3 — Arba Minch → Dorze → Konso

Morning boat trip on Lake Chamo (crocodiles, hippos, birds). Visit Dorze Village (weaving, bamboo houses), then drive to Konso. Overnight lodge in Konso.

Day 4 — Konso → Bana → Turmi

Visit Konso terraced villages (UNESCO). Stop at Bana villages en route. Arrive in Turmi, Hamer homeland, for optional cultural performances. Overnight lodge in Turmi.

Day 5 — Turmi → Omorate → Jinka

Visit Dassanech villages across Omo River. Afternoon drive to Jinka. Overnight lodge in Jinka.

Day 6 — Jinka → Mago NP → Addis Ababa

Morning visit to Mursi tribe in Mago NP. Continue to Ari village. Afternoon flight to Addis. Evening farewell dinner with folkloric music & dances.
